Brian attended the University of Maryland, College Park and holds a BS in Accounting.  Brian has spent the last 39 years working in, or providing services to the retail industry.  The first 22 years in retail were spent in the Grocery industry.  The majority of that time being spent with Shoppers Food Warehouse, in the Washington, DC market.  During Brian’s time at Shoppers, the company organically grew from less than $50M to almost a $1B company, providing an incredible opportunity to learn.  Brian held a variety of positions, ranging from corporate finance, to Director of Corporate Programs, to Shoppers IT Executive.  In 2000, an opportunity presented itself to take what he had learned, and go help others.  For the last 17 years, Brian has been providing service solutions to some of the country’s largest retailers spanning grocery, specialty, QSR, convenience and big box retailers.  Before joining RTI in 2016, Brian served as VP, Services for Kyrus and then Agilysys, where at one point or another was responsible for all of the retail services offerings.
